“Bronze”, 13 by 4 inches, Acrylic on asymmetric cardboard. #swipe for more photos.
It started as a color experiment inspired by a beautiful bronze statue posted by @geethanjalipondicherry . I have always loved chozha sculptures for their neat lines and curvilinear torsos. It felt good to focus on something so small for several hours, slowly building up layers of colors, with bits of ochre showing through from the cardboard. Used a zero liner brush throughout, and I need to get back to wearing glasses now, I think.
