This is my tribute to the last year. I think there are 365 numbers out there, because as artists, we need to mark even the darkest years of history. I am also planning to use the “They/them” pronouns and try and paint more gender neutral figuratives for this year. Incidentally it was also the end of a canvas roll. Indicating closure, maybe?
I am hopeful for this year. It’s blossoming. Sun rise is almost here. God bless us all.
